This is a film about post-Soviet Russia seen through the eyes of the filmmaker, as she returns to her home town (Vladivostok, Russian Far East) after a decade of absence with the intention of resettling there. Unusual places, unusual characters, unusual ways-about, unusual mentality becomes a colorful and contrasting carousel of her welcome-home. And she comes to the realization that there is no place for her in this drastically changed country. She decides to sell her apartment and come back to New York.
