The Pit began in January 2011 as an outflow of a movement of God. The Pit seeks to reach out through expositional preaching, sincere worship, and deep relationships. The Pit’s main emphasis is not music or an experience but proclamation – seeking to know God more by getting to know His Word. The Pit is a ministry of Silverdale Baptist Church, and like the church, it exists to bring glory to God by restoring His image in the souls and lives of people by making disciples.
